DISCLAIMERS |
|
The home inspection does not include: 1. Radon, lead, water quality or other environmental inspections. We will be happy to provide a list of these specialized testing agencies. 2. The evaluation of working condition or life span of refrigerators, ovens, stove tops, microwaves, or other small appliances that are not a part of the home’s essential structural system. 3. A home inspection is not, and should not purport to be, in any way a warranty or guarantee of those systems inspected. A home inspection is limited to that which is visible. Much wiring, piping, ducting, venting, and nearly all of the structural elements of a home are hidden behind walls and siding, and under flooring. An experienced home inspector is trained to look for “clues,” the visible manifestations that those many systems are either working properly or are in some degree of failure. Often, it is our best guess, based upon analyses of the clues and years of experience in the construction and inspection business. |
